Paden Alexander is a Wildlife Biologist for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. Paden attended St. Ignatius High School and the University of Montana where he received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Wildlife Biology. Paden initially started working for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes as a wildlife technician in 2014. Paden took another job with the Rocky Mountain Research Station in 2015 investigating wolverine distribution in the Mission Mountains. Paden recently worked as a Fish and Game Warden for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes from 2019-2022.

Paden currently works with grizzly and black bear management on the Flathead Indian Reservation. He works hard to try and prevent conflicts with bears by helping homeowners install electric fencing around chicken coops, garbage containers, fruit trees, and any other attractant that may bring bears into a residence.
